DEAR EDITOR: Congratulations on an excellent editorial ‘Art and Soul’ (Issue 57). What is art? You have given the game away. In your piece you have continually used the word ‘article’. Now we all know what is meant by ‘article’: it is a small construction, usually literary, intended to pass information to the observer. But ‘article’ is simply the diminutive of ‘art’: art-icle.
